There are a lot more other mistakes to avoid, of course. But if you stick to these tips – you should be at least doing okay for start.

- Copying others’ blogs – copy cat always lose in long term.
- Posting once in a very long time – persistant for the win!
- Spam your readers with ads – people come to your blog for the content, no ads!
- Never moderate your comments – spams are everywhere, keep them in control!
- Never interact with your readers – blogging is suppose to be a two way communication.
- Writing off topic – you need to focus on your niche!
- Never edit your work – basic proof-reading is a must.
- Too many guest posts – you’ll lost your voice on your blog when you are bringing in too many guests.
- Don’t back up stats – link out to the original source when you quoted someone or stats.
- Writing content that’s about today’s event – you need to write evergreen content.
